Create the Liquid Combination 6. Add 1/4 cup sugar to another pan or bowl. White sugar can also be used; I just used raw, unprocessed cane sugar. Include 1 cup of cold water. The water must be really chilly.

Water is being added to a tiny bowl of sugar.

7. Continue whisking until the sugar melts

Using a whisk, the sugar was completely incorporated into the water. Add 1/4 cup oil now. Oil of sunflower was added.

Note: I would not advise adding butter because, according to some readers, it solidifies and is challenging to stir into a homogeneous consistency. For this cake, stick to oils that are liquid at room temperature.

9. Stir quickly to thoroughly combine everything.

11. Add one tablespoon of lemon juice next. Again, stir.

No lemon, please? No issue. All this place needs is something acidic. Instead of using lemon juice, you might substitute 1 tablespoon of white vinegar or apple cider vinegar.

18. Make chocolate cake without eggs.
In an oven that has been prepared to 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit), bake the eggless chocolate cake for 35 to 40 minutes

Tip: Pre-heat the oven for 15 minutes to 180 degrees celsius (355 degrees fahrenheit) before baking in the convection setting of a microwave. Then bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 180 degrees celsius (355 degrees Fahrenheit).

Keep in mind that oven temperatures differ from one to another. Avoid repeatedly opening the oven door as this will cause your chocolate cake's core to sink. Once the baking is finished in three-fourths, open the door.

I advise purchasing a stand-alone oven thermometer because oven temperatures differ significantly from one oven to the next. This cake typically needs 35 minutes to bake. However, it will take longer if your oven is particularly hot or cold.shorter or longer baking times.

After baking, an eggless chocolate cake is seen in a pan. Using a bamboo skewer or toothpick, check the chocolate cake to see whether it is done. The bamboo skewer need to be free of any debris.

Place the chocolate cake back in the oven and bake it for a few more minutes if the toothpick comes out sticky from the batter.

Remove the eggless chocolate cake from the baking pan when it is cold enough to handle, and set it on a wire rack to finish cooling. Let the cake cool fully before icing.

This frosting recipe yields more of a thin chocolate glaze than frosting. Combine 1/4 cup almond milk, 1/4 cup raw sugar, and 1 tablespoon sunflower oil in a small pot.

Advice: Only use 2 tablespoons of almond milk if you prefer a somewhat thick icing. Almond milk can be replaced with any dairy or non-dairy milk.

In a small steel sauce pan, combine sugar and almond milk to create vegan cocoa frosting.

Start heating the pan on a low flame at number 22. Mix thoroughly while stirring to fully incorporate the sugar into the milk. Make the almond milk just hot enough to dissolve the sugar without boiling it.

While maintaining a low heat in the sauce pan, stir the sugar into the almond milk. Add 3 tablespoons chocolate powder when the almond milk is just barely warm and all the sugar has melted.

The cake is typically put on a medium-sized dish that has been wrapped in aluminium foil. The icing will work nicer as a result.

For a few hours, place the covered vegan chocolate cake in the refrigerator to allow the frosting to harden. I enjoy covering the cake with a bowl in the form of a dome. As you use the bowl to cover the cake, make sure there is adequate room between them.

In a few hours, the frosting will become firm. Overnight, I kept it in the refrigerator.

Using an offset spatula, cover the edges and top of the eggless chocolate cake with the vegan frosting.
28. Feel free to add some simple decoration to the top of your cake for a little extra flair. Sliced almonds, sprinkles, or chocolate shavings are all recommended. Fresh berries are a nice addition to chocolate cake if they are in season.

Try holding a doily over the cake's top and sprinkling cocoa powder or icing sugar to simulate lace if you want to create a more elaborate pattern.

Suggestions for Serving
When a chocolate craving arises or as a dessert after a meal, serve the chocolate cake as is! It is easy to prepare and luxurious enough to serve at a dinner party. Enjoy it with your afternoon tea.

Enjoy with a scoop of vanilla, strawberry, coffee, or mint chocolate chip ice cream for a more opulent treat, or with some mildly sweetened whipped cream. If you'd rather have whipped cream with a flavour other than vanilla, you can do that too.
